Your family photos stay a family matter.
This notice explains exactly what the current private beta does with an album, its link and the photos people add.
Who can get in
Anyone who has an album link can open it. While it is open, they can give a first name and add photos. After the host approves the finished album, anyone with the link can view it. Treat the link like a private family invitation and do not forward it outside the group.
What we keep
We keep the first name you give, the photos you add, smaller viewing copies, the finished PDF, comments, hearts and any optional beta feedback you send. We also read available capture date, time and GPS information so the album can be put into days and sensible order.
How photo analysis works
Resized photos and contact sheets are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to check clarity, faces, duplicates and likely moments, and to help write day titles. Album titles may also be sent for that purpose. The host sees the draft and can remove or restore any photo before approving it.
Children and other people
Children's photos are handled in the same private album flow. Only add a photo when you are comfortable sharing every person pictured with everyone who has the family link. The host is responsible for choosing the group and can revoke the link or delete the album.
How long it stays
The live photos, viewing copies and PDF remain while the host keeps the album. Reproducible working images are removed after the album is made. If the host deletes the album, its live database rows and stored files are removed. Encrypted recovery backups may retain a deleted record for up to 30 days before they expire.
Your choices
Ask the host to remove a photo, revoke a forwarded link or delete the album. For access, correction or deletion help, email adi.dagan@gmail.com.
